This Painted Stork was photographed in Yala National Park in Sri Lanka. They feed in muddy waters particularly on freshwater lakes, marshes and paddy fields.
This painted stork is feeding by swinging it's partially open bill from side to side underwater, and closes it when it touches a fish.
